builders in uk silly estimates please read

im a landscape gardener self employed one child age 12 and long time partner.im self employed.when i go out to give estimates for jobs,people allways get a fair quote. i dont charge silly prices,just a fair price for a good job.please tell me WHY most of our EUROPIEAN friends are charging £25 to £30 per day to do work less in some cases. i understand that where you come from you dont get paid much,this might seem good for you,but its going to make most english builders out of work. and to people looking for quotes for building work,PLEASE NOTE when were all unemployed, their prices will go right up. it just pisses me off.
