He is a black and tan Min Pin and weighs about 10lbs. He is about 8 years old. Min Pins Are realy very opinionated, however they are very loyal and are a great watch dog. I hav a pet door so that he can go in and out ,however that is not so great when he gets our unmentionables and hauls them out in the yard. He is a great pet, tell me about yours.

"Min Pins are really very opinionated" Avoid stereotyping your dog. Do not base your dogs actions on the breed. Even if he is very opinionated, relating that to the breed and not the individual dog severs the bond between you two and gives him permission to misbehave in ways that you can say it's just because of his breed. Each animal is an individual. It's like saying all pitt bulls and bull dogs are agressive. If you send that energy towards them, you are giving them permission to be agressive because the fault is no longer the dog's, but the breed's. Right now I only have one dog, and Australian shepherd mix, probably with a doberman or great Pyranese. He's rather skiddish, but has a bark that would make most people afraid of him. I am planing on taking him to the dog park this afternoon after my sister is done using my car. He loves being with retrievers, but is somewhat agressive towards huskies and greyhounds (that includes all sub-breeds). We're working on it continuously, and he is getting better. We recently had his "cousin" (my grandmother's dog) visit us for a few months, and Beau (my dog, pronounced "bow") was overjoyed. Now that Perry is back with grandma, Beau seems to be missing the excitement the much smaller dog brought about. Beau has a slender, strong body, with Aussi coloring (brown legs, blue mearl blotched backside...) a stubbed tail that he was born with, a blue colored right eye and a cowlick along his nose. We rescued him when he was seven weeks old, his previous owners left him in the middle of the desert. I love taking him camping with me, and he's much better about minding his manners with the wildlife when he's in their territory. Every now and again he will stalk a squirrel, but he hasn't chased or caught one. He's absolutely terrified of deer and havalina, so I usually let him patrol the campsite while I'm hunting (I never camp where I know there are bears or cougars are heavily populated, and keeping a fire going keeps them away from him and the campsite).
