why childrens send their parents to old age home?

in my neibourbood ,a person send his lonely father to old age home becoj he is shifting abroad.i m very upset but cant do anything

Wellll...there comes a time when we all move out of our parents houses and have a life of our own. As much as I'd take care of my mom, if she cannot take care of herself anymore and needs medical attention, I would try home health care. But that can cost MORE than a retirement home so if I couldn't afford it, I might not really have a choice.
