For some reason, it is my wife not using proper English when speaking. I was raised by a Catholic teacher who would correct me on my English all the time, so now I am the same way I guess!

you're on autocorrect mode. I knew someone like that too. She'd cut into anybody spaeaking if she heard wrong grammar. She's a linguist.
