i admit i'm still trying to figure out how everything works here at mylot. i've been reading a lot of the discussions posted regarding the restrictions on posting, particularly cut and paste, which really does complicate things for users. while it does give a sense of privelege to those who earn their points, it does limit the ability of legit newbies who aren't into the cutting and pasting from one website to another. i feel it would be much easier to paste articles and pictures done before hand and allow us to do a lot more posts, and eventually, give us a more leveled ground to start from. it's not like we can't earn the 500, but given the option to cut and paste would be easier for us to create more sensible posts and at the same time encourage us to write sensible stuff as well. i love to write. it's an avenue that's lets me espress myself and expose my ideas to everyone who takes time to read what i write. before i used to write for the sake of writing, after hearing about mylot, i relaized that i can earn from what i write, even though what i could possibly earn isn't that big. well, i hope you guys can reach 500... i know i'm 499 posts away from it. welcome to mylot! peace.
