whenever we're having a vacation in my mom's province, we always visit some ponds, rivers, lake there and actually swim there.
It's fun and very enjoyable as we don't have places like those here in the city.

Why would you bathe in a pond - they are dirty and will get you less clean than you started out being.
No, I never have - and never will, but it was an interesting question.
