Is myLot worth it?

I just joined today and I've noticed that it takes a lot of time just to get a few posts in. I'm not sure about the pay scale, but I'm guessing it takes a lot to make even a small amount like $10. So I'm wondering do you think myLot is worth the time you put into it? Or do you need referrals to make it worthwhile?

I pretty much just go for the $10. If you start a couple GOOD discussions that get responses, and then spend maybe an hour or so making good responses (a couple lines long) you should be able to reach 35 cents a day, which will put you over the $10 mark per month. And make lots of friends, respond to their discussions, and they will respond to yours.

I have very limited time to post from working so much at the office but I have found that if you put equal amount of time into posting and refering it really isnt a bad turnout. I mean its nothing to quit your job over but heck might as well spend your extra time collecting an extra $20 a month! And thanks for the referal! Enjoy myLot!
