I feel very hesitant to bargain. The shopkeepers intimidate me. My friends bargain and get vaule for the money they pay. But I end up paying more than that is required. Please give me some tips in bargaining.

Though I too hesitate when I do shopping. But I think u can try this: While shopping enquire at differernt shops n then buy.because i have seen taht when v have already bought thing n we enquire rates at other shop they say lesser then from what i have bought. This will give u the approx idea about that. U will gain this through experience. Also when u go shopping there r only certain markets that do bargain,it means u should get this idea frm who already have visited.B'co i do samewhen i visit a new market i ask someone who alraedy have visited. This has healped me a alone. U can also go with friends b'cos while going in group if u know that u have to bargain then doing this in group in definitely work. Try all above experience of mine.It will definitely help u.

It is ok to bargain a bit because the seller knows that customers always ask for discounts or to bring the prices lower, so what they do is to put a 10-20percent margin on top of the regular selling price. In that way if a customer does not ask for discount they have a profit of more than 50%. So next time do the bargaining thing

I am not at all hesitant in burgaining and does it quite often when its time to buy something. You can also burgain also on the Maximum retail Price of any perticular product.
