How many glasses of WATER do you drink a day?

I drink atleast 5 litres of water a day. I have heard that Doctors all over the world say it is very important to drink lots of water as it is very good for the body. But does drinking water really makes a difference for a healthy body?

Yes it does. but I thought 2 litres of water per day is more than enough for your body. I drink 2,5 litres per day. How could you drink 5 litres of water per day? I could not imagine. You must often go to toilet, dont you? anyway, it is good for your body

I dink on an average about 5 litres a day. It is true bcos i my job involves working on the computer and meeting deadlines is a really tiring and strenous. Also as you said drinking water does lead me to the toilet very often, that part is really bugging, but again after i return from the toilet i feel really fresh again, so i guess water does help, right?

I drink 9 glass of water and each glass is 300ml. I think it's enough for me.. It's important for body. OK

hmmmm..considering the fact that you drink 9 300ml glasses of water a day, then that is too less..maybe u gotta try some larger glasses and drink upto 18 glasses a day, now that would be good start ... all the best dude!

i take 3 litres dialy... i should make it 5 but i'll try to do that. in order to become healthy 5 litres are prescribed by doctor. do u take 5 ?

yes, average of 5 litres a day is my intake, well i have som tough work to do the computer so that makes me drink lots of water. Are you a healthy person?

i drink only 2 ltrs of water,,,n doctor always say me to increase the no of glasses of water....but i hate water i cant drink it....a lot..

Sorry you have to take atleast 5 litres of water daily Whether you like it or not. Otherwise you will be face some problem in Toilet. If you don't like to drink water then take some water content veggies

I drink a miminum of one litre a day - usually around one and a half - going up to two in summer. If I don't drink as much I am likely to get a migraine the following day and leg and body cramps during the night.

I try to drink 8 glasses of water aday. Hey thanks for reminding me I havent been doing it. So now I will. I think it is essential to your health. It is good for your skin your mind and body. So heres to you drink up. Have a good one

I drink about 2-3 litres of water everyday. It is good for your health do drink as much water as you can, but don't drink too much because you will have to go to the toilet very often :)).

I think drinking at least 8 glasses of water everyday is sufficient enough. If you are exercising, increase the intake to 12 glasses. If in a hot weather, 12 glasses. It actually depends on the temperature. The hotter the weather, the more you take, the colder, the less you take. The reason for this is, you sweat more on hotter weather than in cold. Drinking water is good for the body as it helps assists the liver and kidney to expel toxic waste from our body, so it doesn't strain that much in taking out wastes from our body.

water is one of the god given gifts to us.Drinking 5 litres of water per day is really good for ur health.although u dont know its importance now u ll know it after some 10 years it ll keep ur body fit and ll expel out all the unwanted fluids from ur body and keep u safely .

I have made an effort over the past 2 months to drink at least 6-8 8 ounce glasses a day. I can honestly say that the biggest change I have seen is in my skin. My skin was so itchy and dry before and now it is soft and supple and no longer itches. Of course, I also spend a bit more time in the restroom, but for me, that is no problem to be rid of the itchy skin!

I am not so sure about 5 litres of water daily.Earlier I was having as much or rather trying to drink as much as possible.Later I realized that my stomache looked bloated all the time.Then I read in some health book that too much water may not suit everybody, and their bodies may swell like rice grains swell after imbibing water. Now I feel, experience what is best for your body.If you feel good with a lot of water intake then go ahead, but if less intake is ok with you, then dont simply monkey the other guys.

Yeah you are right. I have also heard the same and I am also conscious about it. I feel difficult to drink 5litres a day. If it is hot weather then I can manage 3 litres otherwise 1.5litres.

well i drink about 15 glasses a day i think its imp for us to drink water to replensih the water loss but excess water can inflate cells and use them to burst
