I would like to buy a laptop/notebook and wondering what brand people would reccomend and why?

i'm currently using HP laptop for more than a year now... on the other hand, my brother has just recently bought an Acer laptop...

I prefer notebook...i have it! I have HP Pavilion...it's very good. I buy it 1.000€ !!!

i am using HP Pavilion with mediacenter and now it is coming with vista. i prefer u just because of its hardware configuration to meet the fast processing and perfomance with high graphics
