Wooden Sunbust wall clock-the sunbirst is guilded, now fading somewhat. The movement is supposedly by Japy Frere(1880-1910 France). The back plate is stamped with his name and medallion. The number of the clock movement is 6606. The escapement has been replaced at some stage and other very poor work carried out on the movement. Did JF ever make such clocks or did he produce movements for other manufacturers. There is no oher number in his antique clock collection that is remotely near this
