Protests against President Chen
I read in China Daily (17/6) that there were popular protests against
President Chen, and that a large number of Taiwanese want him "out",
according to a public opinion poll.
Of course, although these stories are prominent in the Chinese mainland
press, no mainland government figure has come out and endorsed them.
I wonder why ?
