When will China REALLY retake Taiwan?

Its been 56 years since Taiwan seperated from the mainland. How many more years before China REALLY retake the Taiwan? All this military talk and no action between China, Taiwan, and USA is very disappointing. If Chen Shui Bien's political party wins again in 2008 and Chen's successor also wants independence. China should REALLY consider attacking Taiwan in 2009. Regardless if the USA intervenes or not.
