Ouija boards...

The ouija has only the power that you give it. If you treat it as a joke you might not get great results. Personally, I had a couple bad experiences with them and at this stage in the game, it's not something that I want to fool around with. Some people will say that it's all a joke but talk to anyone that has had success with it and they will tell you a completely different story. Regardless, be careful and never taunt a spirit or dare it to do things.

I think it's real. My friends house was haunted and we played Ouija board one night n asked them to make a noise so we knew they were there n we saw a ghost in the mirror n then a knock on the door. We all jumped n freak n quit playing that ntie. That's a nite i'll never forget!

I had an experience with one many years ago and I have never been so scared in all of my life. I even have a fear of repeating the experience to other people because I don’t want to have the feeling I felt at that time ever again. My fear was compounded by the fact that one month following my experience I walked in on a conversation where another lady was telling about her experience and it was identical… as if she had been in the very room with me. Just hearing her story made me have the same feelings all over again and there was not even a board in the room at that time. I broke down in tears and couldn’t even speak. I haven’t spoken about it again except to one other person who was a preacher of mine and he helped me moved passed it all. I won’t go near one ever again. Someday I know that I need to educate myself on the whole practice and I am sure I will read a book about it or something. That is the only way I know to give the fear that I have surrounding it, its proper place in my mind.

It is really not able to be answered... I have personally heard many different things of what people think this may be... Some think it may actually be A channeling for spirits to contact you, since there is no battery power, or anything else there to control it, and the Planchette moves on it's own... Some think it is from Automatism... Where bacially you are moving with your own pschokenitc powers, or telekensis within, because you know more than you think that you do... Some have even feared that this so called game, could be demon controlled. No one really knows for sure, accept the person who built the game, and designed it, only he knows the purpose it holds, and then he may not even know fully... I believe myself, it is part of the supernaturual.. For the point moves on it's own, and the pointer is not sentient... So there is something abnormal there... I have really no storied of myself... For, I am still seeking to buy one, just having to find somewhere that still sells them, I know Ebay does, but I am trying to earn up enough money to buy A good condition one... But I do have A story I know of, my online sister had, or said she experinced.. Her, and A friend of hers found the board, in one of his old family chest... And played it, she claimed after words she was sick, hurting, in pain, could not eat, or could she sleep.. She said she also thought she was possessed, and said she was going to have an excorcism to banish this evil spirit that had possessed her... whether this is true or just seeking attention, I will never know... But lately she has been different, and has said if I dared to play that game, she shall never speak to me again, and called me 'Child of the Banished One.'
