Bill Cowher Resigned!

Sadly enough, Bill Cowher has resigned as Head Coach for the Pittsburgh Steelers. What is your opinion of his resignation and where do you think he will end up coaching? Or will he end up doing something else?

According his press release, he would retire from football and be with his family in NC.

Supposedly, NC State's coach is about ready to get the boot. Let's see if he ends up there!

I am from Pittsburgh and I am kinda sad about it cause he's been there so long. My fiance is devastated. He said Cowher can't coach anywhere for year cause he broke his contract. I just dont understand why he couldn't just stay one more year. That's all he had left on his contract.

He and his wife had already purchased a new home in North Carolina. And he just didn't seem to be as motivated recently. Not sure why, but it made me think something was up or on his mind. I really think more will surface as to why he resigned. Whether it be front office troubles or family problems, it seems there was more behind his resignation than we know. Only time will tell!
