for those who lived with there parents in early teen years......its a turning point.....one lives with different kinds of people..becomes independent....mature....responsible.....learn new things in life ......self confidence.....

I think the most important role hostel life plays in one's life is the role of making the individual independent.
Following this is the role of good socializing skills and good management skills.
