Cant we keep ourselves fresh by taking bath once or twice, morning and evening or is it necessary that we should use deodrant. Were these deodrants and perfumes present during the olden days, people at that time did have any problem because they did not have deodrants and perfumes. Is this just all the gimmick and advertisement influence on us to use all these.

Absolutely those are not at all necessary! I was using a lot of deodrants before 5 years. Slowly I started quitting Talcum Powders, Shampoo, Perfumes or Deodrants and now I am totally out of all these. I take bath Morning & Night and whenever I comeback from outside in the day times. I feel fresh and comfortable. Even for shower I use natural powders, rose & hibiscus. Change the world naturally natural....!

Yes, as u said No side effects, I feel I am looking good than how I was few years before. Yes, its also cost controlling, as the inflation goes higher and higher. I personally feel this is really good for us.

deoderant is very important to wear everyday.back in the old day many people put soda under their arms to keep them from sweating, but it didnt help a whole lot.an the ladys would wear cooking vanilla as perfume. sounds odd but it worked

i think it is necessary and we cant really keep ourselves fresh while working, exercising, straining yourself in some way etc. deodorant helps keep you smelling fresh and free of bad odors that a shower cant give us when we are doing other things. i know that perfumes were around in the olden days cause it speaks of perfumes in the Bible. i wear perfumes because it makes you smell beautiful. and i like that.

Yes I agree and u r the best person to make choice for yourself. It always depends on ur interest. Some people go for something natural if they get or do not go for perfumes or deodrants.

Egyptian women in bun hair style - wearing perfume on their heads
How do you know people didn't smell in the good old days. They did smell and thats what lead to creation of these perfumes. You know tradition of wearing perfumes goes back to the times of cleopatra, when in greece woman and men used to weqr a bottle of perfume on their head and that perfume use to drip on them drop by drop and as the day passed they really smelled nice and strong. You must read the history of how and why perfumes were created I think. We all want to smell nice and we have always wanted to and will always want to. Come to think of it its a good business too, lol.here're links for you to read on it http://columbia.thefreedictionary.com/perfume http://zebra.sc.edu/smell/shannon/shannon.html

What make you so sure that people dont need deodorants? It's depend on the person whether he has a body odour prob or not, not how times he takes a bath, I think. I know a person, she has odour. No matter how many times she takes a bath, she still stinks. So I think this kind of person needs deodorants. Honestly I never use it because I've no odour prob. Plus, deodorants can irritate your skin and make your underarms darker. Cheers!
