Is it cruel to let the Home for the Aged look after your parents...

There are times when the elderly need special care that thier sons and daughters cannot provide due to many circumstances and medical reasons. Dementia is a cripling illness and special care is needed to give them the quality of life that only certain people can give. There are so many reasons today as the medicines today keep the elderly living longer.

I like that! "special care" . I've always thought that the main reason why people do this is because, old people are too much a burden to look after in todays fast paced generation.
