Which alliance, if any, are you in?

I am in the Domination alliance, which is the biggest alliance in terms of members, and the second biggest in terms of settlements goeverned. We shall soon be number one in the latter too! Joining alliances greatly increase your chance of hitting 'motherloads' which means you have a chance of getting upto 150MD in one hit from mining. Currently, the criteria for joining Domination is that you have to govern at least one settlement or be referred by an existing member. Governing a settlement when you are starting out new, can be difficult therefore being referred by a Domination alliance member, like myself, would be easier.
