From boingboing: "Dubai-based real estate firm Omniyat Properties plans to construct a tall building in Dubai modeled after the Apple iPod. The name of the 24-story tower: iPad. Architects James Law Cybertecture International will design, and the structure will sit over a six-degree-angled “docking station,” just as the ipod does on its docking station." What do you think about this? Do you like the design (you can see pictures here:http://www.salatti.net/ipod-come-modello-per-la-nuova-torre-progettata-da-omniyat/)? IMHO, it's a very cool design. Fashinating.

Oh good. Buildings based on appliances. You could live in a fridge, a toaster, a keypad estate, a city designed like a sound system, or a washing machine. OK it's cute, but the Taj Mahal it will never be. Come back Frank Lloyd Wright, all is forgiven.
