Mitsubishi TV Model #CS27205 Serial # 547907

My TV has a good picture and color but there is a large black square in the center of the screen. The outline of the screen is all that shows. The TV worked perfectly yesterday. What could be the problem? What would be the estimated costs if repairs were necessary?
