How much time do you spend in your profession?

How many hours do you work in a typical week, Do you have to do lots of overtime to make ends meet?
Is your quality of life effected because you work too much, or if you are without a job, because you don't have one?

I was always a stay at home mum but now that my children have all grown up and married, I have all the time in the world to do the things I want to. However, my husband still works. He doesn't need to work overtime to make ends meet, but he works for a small computer company and the overtime is compulsory. Out quality of like is effected by all the overtime and I sometimes find myself having to go to the office with him on Saturdays and Sundays just so that we can have some time together.

I work a lot. I am a bar manager at a local bar and it requires you to have very odd hours. You basically never know when you will be done cause you can never predict how busy it will get. But for now I love my job and until I don't anymore I will find a new one
