only in paypal that they require such credit card number to have your account verified. while e-gold does not rquire any of those things. so if you want to have an account with out giving out your credit car number i suggest that you go for e-gold. here's a link for you register an account for e-gold, it is totally free: http://www.e-gold.com/e-gold.asp?cid=3888522 good luck. greetings. : )

I have used paypal and have given them credit card details. I use my credit cards frequently. I dont find any harm in it. As for as e-gold is concerned, I never used that so I cant say anything about e-gold. I would recommend you to have premier or business account with pay pal to avail more benefits. If you are not having premier, then upgrade. It is free also. They charge some little fee which they return also later in the shape of bonus. Dont worry about giving credit card details to pay pal atleast. Enjoy, e-shopping.

Yes,t is safe because there are thousands of paypal/e-gold users using their credit cards and yet no complains have been received from them.
