I am sorry about your cat, that guy is sick. I am so glad that you were outside and jumped between the dog and the child. Who knows what the dog would have done. That guy is psycho thinking it's ok to let his dog traumatize a child (and potentially hurt) because the child is teasing the dog. I had some kids that were teasing my Rottwieler on their way home from school. We talked to the animal control officer about it. He went down and told the parents of the kids and told them what the fine would be if he caught them near my dog again. there are reasonable ways to deal with kids who tease a dog. This guy is exactly where he deserves to be.

well, friend, i havne't read the first one of these, but i have an idea what happened. as for the dog and the child, i can remember when i was chased bby someones dog, and it bit me. at least that didn't happen to the child. that is always good. and that guy deserves to be locked up. he is irresponsible, and his dog is a menace

i never saw your original post until i read this one and looked at your profile to read the other one. I am so sorry that that happened to your kitty but i am very glad to read this post and hear the result that the owner was locked up. some pet owners are so irresponsible and a dog that is likely to bite should always be on a lead. i cannot beleive that guy laughed. i hope he learns from this experience.

Oh my goodness, that stupid owner what is wrong with him, good on you and the child's parents for taking the man to the police,yes the child is very lucky that he/she was not harmed with bits from the dog.

Oh, I am so glad you were able to spot the guy again. Great job helping the child, I'm sure his parents were very greatful. Now your cat can wait peacefully until you meet again. I hope that man learns a lesson. But it sounds like he is the type of person that doesn't learn anything from his mistakes. You're a Hero.

It is a good thing that dog didn't maul that poor kid.thank god you stood up and now the owner is behind bars.no one should let their pets just run loose they should be either fenced in the yard or tied up when they are outside.

That is good news. I'm glad that someone like you was able to help a small child that was in need of some serious help. Even if the child was teasing the dog, that steal didn't give the owner a right to let the dog go. That owner is stupid. What person in their right mind would do such a thing? Well, it's done and over with. The owner should never be allowed to own another dog.

I did read your original post and was truly sad about your kitty. I am very happy to hear that some justice has been served now. Way to go. Thank goodness for that child you were there who knows what could of happend had you not been there.

Oh wow! I remember your post from the other day. I remember responding to it. I am so glad that you were able to stop this man's dog from attacking a child! And now he is behind bars, as well. I hope that his dog is somewhere where it cannot hurt others, as well. It sounds like a very aggressive dog. I hate to say that, because I love dogs more than any other animal, but there are bad dogs just as there are bad people, and this dog sounds pretty mean.

Thank god you were there to prevent the child from getting bit by the dog. It's a shame that he wasn't able to control his animal. I must admit that our dog has a habit of getting out of the yard, though the neighbors all know our dog, and have had the opportunity to get to know him. The neighbors also know that he is a friendly dog, and wouldn't hurt anyone unless he is provoked. We also have taken him for walks, so that the neighborhood kids all had a chance to play with him, and see that he is a friendly dog. So far the worst thing that he has done is licked a childs face. But, if they came to me and said that he had done anything to harm anyone, I would make sure that he wouldn't have a chane to do it again.

terrible man! his dog could kill that child. (if it is a big dog). Im glad you wereable to help out your neighborhood by putting that man in jail. And im sorry with what happened with your kitty.
