I love this movie. So vibrant, so vivid, so literate. It could afford to be a little shorter, as it's style over substance and when the style isn't clicking it all goes to hell, but what an experience!

I love this movie too- i just watched it again and it still fascinates me. Everything is just so beautiful- the costumes, the actors, the setting.. It was so much fun.. it is near the time when the Phantom of the Opera happened too.

I love this film too, I think the composition isvery clever and I adore Satine's red dress. Plus I think its one of the best renditions of the Tango ever performed on camera

I thought this movie was amazing. I didn't find a time when it was lacking style at all. As for substance... what is there to be lacking in the bohemian life style?
