Donate your hair.

A while ago I cut my long hair and donate it to an institute that make wigs to children that are sick or been burned. It's a great feeling to a wonderful cause, and its a great organization.
why don't people have the courage to do the same, change a little their appearances just to help others.

I don't know the answer to your question but i can say after i lost my grandmother to cancer i felt that i needed to do something to help others. I don't have much money because i've got four children that i need to take care of but anyways i work at the local wal-mart and i see a lot of children walk into there with hat's on or bandanas because of cemo treatments. I feel so sad for them and want to help them in anyway that i can so in october i decided that i was going to get my hair cut. I had it measured and it was 12 inches long so i donated it to locks of love. I hope that it will go to very good use. I still wish that there was something that i could have done for my grandmother so this is my way of helping her.

Sorry for your grandmother. I lost an aunt for cancer too, and its was really hard since she lived in another country and the last time I saw her was over 10 years ago and could not be with her to help her through all that. Since she had suffered so much I can not imagine what children must go through, so I felt that could help in any way I can to help them have a one day smile.
I wished that other people can do the same thing we did because I really think its for a good cause.
