I am seriously getting annoyed and angered by the cheap discussions people are posting. Not only are certain people LYING in their discussions just to get a little more responses, but they're trying to place their views and lies on others. I am sick and tired of race slandering, of religion bashing, and of people trying to do anything possible just to get people to notice their posts. Why are people going so low just to get a little higher in their earnings. It's not worth it. Has anyone read or written any GOOD discussions, even if it's their own, that they could recommend I read and comment on?

I agree that it is becoming more difficult
to find good quality discussions on this
site . And we might waste lot of time &
internet bandwidth in finding the good
quality discussions to respond . But there
are some good quality posts here ...
perhaps we may have to concentrate more
on other activities and post here only
when we have some spare time .

Hi! If you're a techie and you can do document formatting and photo editing, then check out my discussions. I've been trying to get information for a long time about software recommendations, etc. There have been some kind people who have responded, but I'd love to hear more!

You just have to keep looking and finding the good ones. Also, contribute some of your own - if you do that, you will increase the ratio of good posts to bad posts. People post what they post because they get replies - if you don't like what they post, don't reply, and they will quit posting them.
I consider most of the discussions I've written to be good discussions. If people don't agree, oh well - I write what I write. I don't slander race or religion, so...

I agree with you...it takes a long time, but eventually the good discussions will appear. I have also tried finding discussions in my interests, so I do not waste the entire time I am logged on wading through all the garbage that people post. I consider your discussions to be good, it is just I have no good responses.

How do you know they are lying and not just expressing their true opinions? There is so much pressure to be politically correct in society today that many people are afraid to speak their minds. So one wrong thing and you are instantly labelled a racist, a bigot or worse. But given the anonymity of the internet, people are free to say what they really think without fear of retaliation, other than a few flaming emails.

I agree with you dragonstar. If the one who posted this topic wants to start better ones, no one is stopping him/her. I have no trouble finding good topics even though I agree there are many inane ones, and I guess I would have to include this one as that.

Yes, I agree with you completely. Most of the time now, when I am looking for something interesting to read and respond to, all I find is something pathetic, like a one word topic, or a one sentence story. Why can't people be more creative and write something intelligent. It seems so strange. And furthermore, people are only discussing things of a hateful nature just to get a response. It is sad that they do not even know what they are saying or what the topic really is about before they write such hateful things.

There's nothing wrong with criticizing. If people didn't criticize things, then they would falsely believe things, without questioning them or seeing them from all angles. I think you need to follow the rules of the site though, and give more than one liners.

I find a lot of good discussions, I don't believe in bashing religion even though I am not religious, people are entitled to their views although I do think people do go on about it a little much, I think religion should be a private thing...The lies you have come across, I done't about lies, I wouldn't know which are lying, I just plod along and I guess I pick the discussions I feel are interesting.

Well I agree with you there as I did see a lot of them to at that time, but I think that it has calmed down, the only thing is that we still have People throwing one Discussion after another which are not worth looking at and they are not responding to anyone elses. I just ignore them and not bother with them at all.

i agree with one member here who start discussion of HI and gets almost 500 responce - whilst if the discussion is long and puts lot of effort typing it - noone will responded - by the way i post a similar question like yours 3 days ago - and i get a responce saying - they want to earn money by looking for cheap discussions to answer - hope this will help.

Seemed that I am promoting sksouth's post. Has a great post on how to maximise your earnings in mylot. Good and great tips are given there after much tedious trial and error I believe. There are also many other good posts that do not slander nor incite all kinds of hatred. Screen the post you want to read or respond to well, so that you will not be caught in the ugly side of the web. Do contribute some good post for us to read too.

considereing that we as a human being are unique. everyone has thier own way of thinking, thier own goal.
maybe for you, you are of opinion that people should keep a good post, but i'm sure that many people are more eager to earn money, rather than posting some good posts.

Visit my discussion Who is God? Its a discussion which I started with my view of what I believe is God. The idea is not to make money with this but to make all those aware of it who are still in dilemma and have misconceptions in their mind about God.

Just as the topics are getting worse, more and more people are posting and complaing about how they are getting worse....we need to find a new way to deal with this then just by posting 100 more topics complaining about other users. But yes i do agree with you 100%
