best site to have and e-mail id?

dear friends can anyone tell which is best site for having a e-mail account which offer a wide range of serviceses, large space to store mail, with an antiviruse check when ever we download an attachments from our e-mail, which gives spam security and identify one and send them directly to spam folder.
please give ur suggestions

I would recommend u to use an gmail account, since u have 2gb space to store your mails, and secondly its spam protected, it would automatically send the files identified as spam and then send it to the spam folder and get deleted in 30days.

i dont know about gmail but no dought yahoo is the best for having an email account and hotmail as u sayed they really dont provide a good space for our mails.
let me try this gmail is it really good like yahoo.
yahoo is very good and user friendly right.
