At what point in Metallica's career do you think they lost "it". You know when a band has "it", and you can feel when they loose "it". That special something that just makes you go godamn this is amazing. For me it was the Black Album. Mostly for James' voice. I look back on that album and think damn I wish he could still pull that off, he mostly yelps nowaday's. Now granted I'm a musician and vocalist and it is hard to pull shi_t off and I can never take anything away from Metallica for what they've done and I very much so respect them; but for me that's the last album where it sounds to me like they had that special something. What do you think?
