Why my clock in windows is always losing time?

My clock in windows is always losing time.Is there anything i can do about it?

Heya, It does sound like the most likely option is that the clock in windows would be losing time because of the battery as the previous poster suggested but another option is that you have auto update of the time on in windows xp. I had this enabled but the server that it was connecting to was not accomadating for daylight savings here and i kept losing an hour. If it is always the same amount of time that you are losing then this would be a likely cause. If it is random amounts of time you are losing then it is most likely your battery.

check your battery inside your pc. If it's still charged maybe something is wrong with your motherboard clock generator and there is nothing you can do I think. I hope you need only to change your battery!

the battery and motherboard are new. thanks
