Do you rate all your answers in your discussions? I try really hard to do so. So everyone that responds to me, YOU HAVE BEEN RATED!!!! And if so, do people that get rated, do they get money for that? I do hope so, otherwise what is the point of rating people? I want everyone to know that I try to rate everyone on my discussions, will you please rate me? thanks!

If you were to rate every answer in every topic you posted/responded to, I would think that you would spend all your time here rating people. While I understand that rating responses can be important, it's not the most important thing to me here. Keeping out of trouble, not spamming or plagarizing, posting quality discussions and replying with meaningful responses are the most important things to me here. Then I try to rate responses and report violations when necessary. As for ratings helping/hurting users, I'm sure it makes a difference somehow, even if no one tells us so.

So...do you think that people get points for being rated positive and that translates into money? Im still curious about that. Otherwise, Im not sure if I want to continue rating people.

I wish I could give you a difinative answer, but unfortunately I do not know if it makes a difference. I'm sure it does somehow though. You could ask the staff though.

I usually rate all my answers, positive or negative, and report abuse. I wish I had also more time to respond to all of them too! (This is why I prefer PayPoster! ;))

I don't rate all, as I ignore some of the one liner meaningless or trivial that I would be tempted to give a negative for. But I do rate all positives. Best post is one I usually hold back with for a week or two or untill I have a few sensible contributions.

Thank you. I usually rate all posts whether negative or positve. Can people see that you rated them negative? Ive wondered about that.
