I was recently convicted with a second offense of a DWI within a 5 year period.I got 3 years w/o a license.Which I thought for a second offense would be 2 years.I was also convicted of refusel of a breath/blood test and the Judge slap 3 years for a first offense.I thought on that it would be a year?So, I have to live my next 6 years w/o transportation.Help me with these questions thatnks.I live in Va.

Have you spoken to anyone in the legal profession, either a solicitor/lawyer or a court official.
Somehow I think the fact that it was your second offence within 5 years would have contributed to the sentence you received. I can only say, that I am glad I wasn't driving down the same roads that you were.
