has youtube become an interactive "blogging media"?

haven't you noticed youtube lately? it has became a blogging integral. they even use videos as blogs themselves by posting a series of incessantly mind-numbing vids/clips.
they even upload episodes of a tv series... what the f...?

I was just commenting on this in another thread earlier today. It's become one of my pet peeves. Some blogs that were previously interesting to read are now just post after post of YouTube videos. If I wanted to see them all, I would go to YouTube myself. I understand if a blogger comes across something on YouTube that fits in perfectly with his blog, but it's a shame that people are so lazy that they are resorting to this instead of putting a little bit of effort into writing a creative post.
