Children Learn What They Live, What do you think are important lessons?

What is the one most important thing that we can teach our children? I feel that it is respect. Respecting themselves and others. That their self worth/value is not to be gauged on what any one else may think of them. To trust themselves and their good judgment. To live each day to the fullest. That all feelings they experience are valid. To not believe everything you hear. Learn from experience. Children are our future. Treat them well.

Well said. I feel too many young children these days have no respect for anything. My parents brought me up to respect my self and others and that politeness costs nothing.

well thats a responsible question, as child they always have a lot of question to ask with and thus to start answering them patiently helps them grow better...
