Append Referal link?

How do you change your ref. link so that it doesn't say ?username at the end? It says you can change it, but I'm not sure how.. and how does it still work for you, to get referals, if you change the ending?

you can use url forwarding service. Search in your favorite search engine. there's plenty of free service out there.

Ah Ha! See, I'm glad I asked.. They didn't really explain.. so I thought it sounded a little odd to be able to just change the ending... Thanks for the advice
