My idea of the best type of business is one that in time would provide a residual walkaway income that would then be self-sustaining with no further effort or work involved. This means that the business would provide a steady income that continues long after you have quit working it. I think a person should set up several streams of income just in case one or more business should fail. I believe that when people join a business opportunity that they recognize that it is Their Business, and that they should work that just as they would any other business that they have started. Running a Business requires work and determination, and a desire to succeed despite any obstacles that may be encountered. I prefer a business that leverages the work of many instead of relying on only your own efforts. The business should have little or no start up costs, and should allow you to get into profit fast if you have to pay monthly fees. Ideally, the business should be attrition proof, so that there is no loss of downline. The business should also offer a product that is valuable and necessary to everyone that does business. The business should be international with very few limitations on who can join and from where. After all, we are now in a Global Marketplace which opens many doors in the world of business. That is my idea of an ideal business.

it's always better to own your own business because besides being your own boss, you dont have a deadline to meet and all the profit is yours to enjoy. im working in an office right now but ive been saving so i can put up my own business. i would love to have my own internet cafe because being one of the most profitable business nowadays, i do enjoy suring the internet. im working and at the same time enjoyng it.

It all depends whether it's a on-line or off-line business. If I had a off-line business I would love to be the owner of a grand hotel. To be able to live there with all the hotel's comforts and not to mention meeting new and interesting people. If it was a on-line business I would like to own a profitable program business.

I do really want to put up my own business when my time of retirement comes. It's good if we have some fall backs we that time comes, and of course we should also have to learn on how we should manage the business that we would want to venture on. I think, for me, a computer shop/cafe would be good. I think I already have proper knowledge in how to operate it, just looking for the right place, timing and capital to start with..

I'm on handling our own family business as to date it was not that big but it generates income and I really love the fact that it was our family business for nearly 40 years. That is livestock of goat and we do some menu delicacy too for goat. When we are engrossed with some of our choosen career one of the good things we have to freshen our mind on a weekend is to handle some sort of business that we really knew by heart and for the coming years it will be a great income to the family.

Nothing in this world is as good as having your own business, no dealines , no reports.working as an employee sometime became so bored, as for me im an employee and always thinking of owning a business, but the problem is capital, presently im a part-time sales counselor just to add extra income for family. I hope i can save enough to stablished my own business, how about you do you have any idea?

you can start a business without a large amount of capital .actually, you are on a consultative service and that is very good because you do not have a big overhead and minimal headaches.try to find a niche where you can make use of your expertise on counselling.if i may suggest , you put up a blogsite,it's free.then market it it in the net or market it in your community to log in.ask help from some webmasters to make your consultation on-line make money.you can give them some teaser and if they need consultation you can ask them for a subscription.say,$5 per consultation.just imagine if you have 10 consultations per day multiply that by 30 and you have $300 that easy.make it affordable so you can invite a lot of clients and keep them on our list builders.it would not cost much.

yes, we all do ^_^ as for business... I think we have the best business. We, (that is my husband and I) run a computer shop right beside our home. We get to stay at home (in a sense) and run business at the same time, we are able to watch our children grow up and miss very little in their lives as they are growing up, plus we have a decent earning that enables us to live our lives as we want. NO Boss, No Deadlines, NO hours. ^_^

I really believe that the answer to making my life a lot better financially is to have my own business. However, I am not yet prepared to relinquish working also in favor of doing business. The best business for me is something I really know how to do and really love doing. I am considering a boutique, internet cafe and distributorship. Capital and time required to start and to keep it going are just two of the things that I have to consider. Anyways, I would still be awhile and I hope I would be a success out of it.

i will give you an idea, since you are from cebu and if you have a land where you can toil, try growing some fruit trees because your soil has limestone that makes your fruits taste sweeter.if yo uwant to have a business then you should not wait for that time to do it,you just have to do it.my girlfriend and i will be planting some fruit bearing trees there sometime this year, she is a cebuana.

You're suggestion reminds me of my family's long standing joke which says that the soil was so hard that even 'malunggay' plant won't grow. We usually say that about the soil in Dalaguete which is located south of Cebu where my mothers clan comes from. Anyways, thank you for the information about the soil but I know for certain that I just don't have it in me to grow things. Though, I very much agree with you that the time to start business is now. I just keep on procrastinating...very bad habit indeed which would make me remain poor. he he he! My heart is set on internet cafe since I already have a place for it. Goodluck to your new venture. One thing is sure though, when you have passion for what you are doing, you are already half way to making it a success. Happy postings!

In business, in general, you would have to solve the basic M problems such as: 1. Management (The problem of leadership) 2. Manpower (The problem of human resources) 3. Machines (The problem of productions systems & equipment) 4. Money (The problem of capital) 5. Materials (The problem of accessing raw materials) 6. Methods (The problem of technology) 7. Markets (The problem of accessing customers) Yes there are rewards but being the "Boss" that's the basic & there are lots of problems to solve everyday. By having your own business, you wouldn't have time to have a life. What I want is to live on interest so I would have time to do the things that I want with the people that i care about.

if i may be permitted, if you get into business seriously, i would suggest to relieve yourself of the doubts and fears that you have stated. a firm committment to go through the business is much needed to pursue a mission.maybe instead of looking at it as a problem , you look at it as an opportunity for you to make it great in your business endeavor.think good, my friend if you want to make good money, stay positive and don't analyze too much you might get paralyzed, you just go and do it.

it's alright. Just wanted to make others aware of what they need to work out on in case they wanted to have a business on their own. These are only the basic situations to go thru & every entrepreneur needs to be prepared for the "battle" in order to survive the first 5 years of business... profitably.

I have always wanted a beauty store where I can import and sell everything I have tried and rated A+. I guess I just have too much passion on the girls' never-ending business *laughs*. But I think if I have a business, I would be really workaholic as I have always wanted the best and exert my potential to the fullest, I guess it would be fun for me in the sense that I would be doing I have passion for but at the same time I would be working around the clock too! Still, it's cool to be our own bosses!

Hello. I would like to be able to put up my own travel agency because my passion is in travel. That way, I could benefit some perks like free trips to foreign countries and free hotel accomodations. I have a degree in Tourism so this is what I really want to venture on (someday hopefully).

i have a farm. it should have been a well established estate by now had i not left it in favor of taking full care of my sick child. now, the farm is there waiting for me to get back. of course, i will as soon as, i am convinced that my son will be doing fine. i have always wanted to relocate there once the opportunity for it comes. the farm is not that sizeable, but the good thing about fruit farms is, the give sufficient yields each year. sufficient to finance the needs of the family plus a little more extra. then, life at the farm is easy and stress free, too.

food - street food?
i'd like to go on a franchising business where there is less effort and maintenance. the thing is its hard to find a good product where i can really gamble or bet my investment on.

i would suggest that if you can stay away from franchising then you will be saving a lot of your hard earned money and will be making more if you develop your own brand which would be better than the ones existing and besides a franchise for a very good brand cost too much.it would be very unwise if you franchise a least known brand where you can even develop your own.if you want to gamble , gamble on yourself and not somebody else's brand.

oh...this is a dream...having no boss to fight with and no bad people to work with and no bad things to do...well at the moment it is only a dream...but of course this is the work I would like to have..I would like to work in the universitary field...I would like to be both a clinician and a researcher and have my own field of research...I love my work but at the moment I have no stable condition...I am always looking for something to rely on and I cannot find any...so I have to be patient and keep on...but this is my favourite job...and of course I would like to be THE BOSS!!!

Well I'm trying to build an on-line business selling my photo work...for now I'm uploading some of my photos to a stock photo place like Photographers Direct, but so far haven't made any money...Since I used to sell and get my photos published years ago, I'm hoping to promote my work myself...and it does take a lot of effort as I'm still in the process of scanning and digitizing my slides---I'd like to see myself having a website on par with fellow photographer Seth Resnick --I do have a website and when I e-mail prospective clients always include my website address--but eventually I want to have the kind of website that will allow me to have one of those market accounts so I can also accept credit card or Paypal payments--my website doesn't have that yet I've always liked the idea of working for myself and be my own boss...and I can sometimes be a rough boss to work with! LOL
