We celebrate sri Thyagaraja Aradhana day on his demise day [ i.e. Pushya Bahula Panchami ]. Most of the Musicians sit together at Thiruvayyaru [near Chennai , Tamilnadu] to sing along his famous Pancha Ratna Kritis on this auspicious day . Some thinkers donot like celebrating this Auspicious day on Thyagaraja's demise day . They say that this Auspicious day should be held on Thyagaraja's Birth day .
