How to format a Floppy disk

Hi, How i can format a floppy disk using DOS or Windows operating system...Plz help

Reading all the comments that you have, i think you already have a lemon in your hands. The floppy that you are trying to format is already useless. Might as well buy a new one.

it is so simple, just put the floppy into the drive and in the dos mode, just write format a: and press enter

If your using dos type format a: that should format your floppy drive.

hi , thanks for your response But when i format floppy using dos ..it give the Error : Bad or Usable Floppy Disk and CRC error ..Why it happens...

format a: or format b: add command /s for add system add command /? for other command ...
