Ever sell your old shoes on eBay for ca$h?

A few years ago (ok, maybe 6 or so), I decided to sell my old shoes on eBay for cash. I just took pictures of the shoes (a couple with my feet in them) and let 'em rip! It wasn't a lot (most of my heels were low) and the two pairs I got the most money for were for a pair of really nasty heels (should have been thrown out years ago!)--sold for more than I paid! and a pair of leather mules I got for free. I'm considering doing it again (I really can't wear the heels I bought last year). Anyone else try this and do you make money doing it?

Yes, you just have to watch your wording or else they'll end your auction early. I didn't make a lot, but for the two hours it took to take the photos, write the auctions and pack & mail the shoes, I made about $100---more if you count the extra money that two of them paid for me to wear them an extra day or two (they wanted them especially smelly--their words). I'm considering doing it again, I've got some shoes sitting around the house...
