Kumble seems to be the main strike bowler in tests for india as of now isn't it? but, do you feel that kumble can really go on for another 2 years or will 2007 be the last year for him?

hey sorry to just distract you but you know what i would like to say that now india is at the peak of its what we say bad form and it is not only that any of the one person is responsible for it. whether the qestion is: Q.should sourav be made the captain of the team? Q.is sourav giving the team what people were expecting after his come back? Q.sehwag is not playing good? Q.tendulkar out of form? Q.dravid took this or that decision wrong? Q.the coach is not good? Q.the coach is more a politician? Q.wrong decision of the board of taking this bowler in the team whereas the other one was required? Q.coach taking gangully case personal? ...... and many mre do not you people think that all what is happening is not good and what these people are doing is just decreasing their world cup chances? do not you think that it is not the problem with one person whole team is responsible? wrong strategies, bad form... what is this is this what indian team has to show to the world that we are the one?

Shane warne has retired from test cricket and this also make kumble vary about his retirement and now he seems to be in god form. But, once he is out of sorts it might be really difficlut for him to make a comeback for sure and maybe this year will be the final year for kumble and we might see him making his announcement in this year.....

shane wrne would have played more if he wanted, in fact captain and coach asked him to stay more but there are some personal family problems of his. So we can't compare the cases of shane warne and kumble.

Yes, Addict shane wrane is far better a bowler than Kumble any time and comparison between Kumble and Shane Wrne is not at all right and as you said, shane's retirement maynot be because of his family problems as i have seen poting commenting last year that he will somehow convince shane to play for the worldcup as he is wanted at any cost. But, Poting never commented or forced him to stay even 2 day's before news was spread that shane set to retire....maybe some other reasons which we don't know for sure

kumble is set to go for atleast another couple of years. he is much fitter than other layers like sourav and sehwag. he is one of the greatest bowlers india has ever produced and he has the ability to turn around a match on his own self.

I agree that Kumble is a great player and fitness holds the key in his case.If Kumble is fit enough, he will play for another 2 years provided he remains in the selctors cheme of things and his form is alright.Otherwise, it will be difficlut for a player like Kumble to make a comeback if for any reason he stay's away from matches.... Anyway's, thanks for responding

Why not the he is bowling and taking wickets i think he should. One should have hunger for the game and interest to do something. In my opinion he still has it and i feel he can.

Yes, for now he looks strong and in coming day's he has to maintain the fitness level and that is teh most difficlut part as Kumble has got shoulder injuries also and if he is out of team again, then it will definitely be difficult to make acome back at this age and in these compition..isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

He has been a constant performer for all these years and is performing continuously and i think he has got a lot of stuff in him and he can surely last for more time

Yes, Kumble has been a consistent performer for so many years and still looking great isn't it? if he is able to hold on to this form and his fitness, then he might stay for another 2 years for sure. But, if he fails in one area, it will be difficlut for him to make acomeback for sure as time is not there with him now..isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

No doubt that Kumble is a class act and whole world know's it and it is not only india who will misshim but the whole world will miss him if he retires soon isn't it? even india is struggling to find one perfect replacement to kumble as harbajan looks a class act but definitely not been consistent enough like kumble Anyway's, thanks for responding

Everybody are hoping that kumble will continue for another 2 years and we all can just hope that's all as it all depends on many factors now onwards and among the major factors is his fitness is main concern as he had developed shoulder problems recently and just been recovered from that and this will be amajor concern for him and for the country also... Anyway's, thanks for responding

Yeah he definitely seems to.He is fit and he still hasnt lost his sheen. He is still the way he was when he came into the indian team. So,i feel he can still carry the responsibilty on his shoulders.

The way he is performing it seems like he might play for another 2 years or so and might target 600 wickets first and about retiring at peak needs a lot of determination as everybody cannot retire at the same time when he is on the top....for sure.. Anyway's, thanks for responding

i think anil kumble may retire after the world cup 2007 i think india will lose a very consistent performer i think he will retire when he is at his peak so great kumble might end up at 600 wickets

THe way kumble is playing test matches, he may retire from one day format and remain in test matches and as he isn't fast bowler, he can stay in test matches for another 2 years or so if he stays fit and moreover selectors are in his favour and kumble also might be aiming at whatever targets he has set before retirement isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

Yes this is true that Kumble is the main strike bowler in tests for Indian cricket team and i don't see if there is any problem for him in playing cricket for two more years. Since he is a spinner he wont face fitness problems which generally fast bowlers face at this age.

Yes, being a spinner on efeels that he maynot have majot problems to play for another two years or so..But, this also depends on other factors like, he had a shoulder problem in these day's and they might also reoccur and even other spinner might come up performing better than kumble or selectors once they lose their confidence on kumble it's hard to pick him up again...isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

Kumble is a fighter and is one of the greatest cricketers india has ever produced and recently he has also been facing soem health problems and some of them were major one's and some of them minor one's and inbetween selectors also lost confidence in him so, things can go on like this an dit requires lot more effort from kumble also to play for another 2 years being fit..isn't it? Anyway's, thanks for responding

Yes, Kumble has been a fighter and still a fighter but still, to remain palying for another 2 years requires more than fighting spirit.Main thing is he should remain fit and then he should remain in form, otherwise if the selectors drop him for some reason, then it might be very difficlut for him to make a comeback....isn't it? don't you think so? Anyway's, thanks for responding
