Good Activities for Autistic Children

I've been looking for some good activities to do with autistic children, something outside of the box to increase learning. A friend of mine has an autistic daughter, she's four years old, and exhibits rather destructive behaviour. The child is constantly on the move. She rips the sheets off the beds, pulls clothes down out of the closet, tries to climb into the refrigerator, hits her sibling when she's upset, rips every piece of paper she finds whether it be from books, mail, etc., and it's just really hard to keep an eye on her. Does anyone have experience with this?
