i know some places offer goodie bags and such when you buy something for the first time there...like motherhood maternity offers a really good gift bag with a bunch of samples and coupons and some full size products as well... what places offer deals like this when you buy something or order somthing...(online or in person, either one...) and are the offers good?

When I was pregnant with my first child, I rang the different companies who have child care products, and told them that I was having a baby. I asked them to send me samples of their products, so I could check them out, and maybe purchase them at a later date. Quite a few sent out nappies, creams, and other things for me to try.

you can go to pampers.com and sign up. they will send periodic free samples for the baby. My daughter signed up through the ivillage vebsite parenting section. She did not have regular access to a computer at the time so I went searching online. i went to all the formula companies and Enfamil, Carnation Good Start, and Similac all sent her full sized cans of the powdered formula and coupons for like 1.00 off and 2.00 off and such. When the baby was born last year the hospital started her on the Carnation Good Start formula, and they sent plenty of diapers, disposable bottles, and cans of pre-mixed formula.. plus she got two diaper bags full of goodies from comapnies like gerber, playskool, and carnation and enfamil We asked her nurse for extra formula and stuff to take home as she was unemployed and had no income and they loaded her up.. if any of the formula or diaper companies don't offer a baby sign up deal you can email their customer service department and they may send you coupons and samples, or tell you how to get them.. your best stuff will likely come from the hospital though.. you will get sample size bottles of shampoo, lotion, diaper rash ointment (full size-usually), and the nose, mouth squeegee and some give thermometers and stuff.. some dont, but you can buy a baby grooming kit for a couple of bucks at wal mart or sometimes dollar stores to cut baby's nails or whatever.. some include little comb and hairbrush too not to mention a bib sometimes or t shirt... in addition to the regular baby supplies.. hope this helps
