At What AGE do you think is too YOUNG to smoke cigarettes??

But these days smoking has became a fashion. Children at 15-16 are developing smoking as their habit..

The correct answer would be, they shouldn´t start at all. I am an ex-smoker, stopped In november so I am still fresh =) Here in Sweden it is illegal to buy ciggs unless u are 18 and buying ciggs for someone under 18 is also illegal and can give you a large fine or even jail!

16 is not too young i have been smoking for 4 years and i am 19 now i started smoking at my age of 15

I think smoking is bad no matter what age you are. I does not really matter how high the legal limits of smoking are because children will find a way. It is just fact.

Don't smoke at any age, if you want to get sick, live in a hospital or die as soon as possible it is an alternative, but if you love to live and enjoy all the good things, family, friends then it is not an alternative.

i think there should be no age for smoking smoking is not a good habbit and it gives danggerous results mt doctor said if you want to die 10 years before then start smoking and i dont think that by enforcing we stop them

maybe 100!!!!!!!!! actually there is no age to the atart of that thing. i myself started at the age of 16. i dont think ther should be any laws in this case because its the will power of the children which will keep them away from smoking not stricter laws..........

Any age is too young to smoke. It is extremely harmful to your health and should be banned altogether. I know everyone has freedom of choice but once your addicted you are not getting a choice.

i think 18 is the lawful age to smoke.we are physically grown enough to somehow accept the effects of nicotine.smoking at an early age hampers growth.it should be 18 when i think we would have some brains to smoke responsibly.thanks

hmm i kno smokings bad for u but i always hung round with older ppl wen i was younger and i started smoking at 12 and now im 16 adn still smokin but i dont know how to giv up, i hav tried but onli lasted 2 days.. Anybody any suggestions??

Smoking is bad at any age. It is a dirty, nasty habit that leads to all sorts of health problems. ANY age is too young to start smoking. 90 in my opinion is too young to start smoking.

yeah! il vote for that law!..we should realy enforce a strict law about smoking at the Minor age..and even smokers in public..

IMO stricter laws can backfire when it deals with controlling habits. Often you can't stop an inveterate smoker from smoking by nagging. You're just treating the symptoms, not the underlying causes. Motivation to do or stop something has to really come from inside. Think about cleaning a room. Your mom tells you to clean your room all the time. You hear her but you're not really listening. When your room finally gets too dirty,bogged up or disheveled you'll eventually clean up. It's often the same with many aspects in life. You have to hit rock bottom first.
