I'm looking for ideas on ways to help meditate and focus using music and such. What do you do to better enable yourself to meditate and focus?

Hi there hun, long time no talk. Here's something that's helped me and many other people that i know. Go out of your house, just walk, let something find you, anywhere, and it doesn't matter where that is, find something from nature that calls you, a tree, bush, body of water, anything, sit near it and just relax, draw that feeling of peace, calm, right into you, it'll really help you, listening to the sounds of nature, everything, spend as long as you want there, just meditating from the land, when your done you'll never regret it. Hope this helps hun Ash

Meditation is my thing dear Whiteheart, although music tends to distract me. I use a very Zen approach to my meditation and find that Mindfulness Meditation is the easiest one to teach, learn, follow, and most steadily practice. I would also recommend guided meditation. There are tons of great new age and spiritual companies that put out fantastic guided meditations that help you learn the focus you need to meditate without a guide. You might also want to meditate in a place that you wouldn't normally sleep in that doesn't have a lot of every day energy and distractions-otherwise you're going to keep finding yourself focusing on those things.
