Carb adjustments for 1984 720 Nissan Truck

I cant get my truck to run like it is supposed to. Either my idle is way too high and it wants to die when I take off from a stop light. Or the idle is way too low and it wants to not run very well on the freeway.

sounds like your filter to the carb may be stopped up take if off an see if you can blow through it if not than it is.or you may be getting more air than fuel in your carb.try setting the air an fuel adjustment on the same amount of turns.

Thanks for the advice. I just have one more question, I am unclear where the air and fuel adjustments are located. My chiltons does not explain where they are at all, I have read it through and through and have not been able to find it.

your adjustment screws should be on the carb.in the front one on the right an one on the left,best thing to is when adjusting use both hands an screw the screws at the same times till you think you it is ideling good an not cutting out
