It's true that coming from a similar background can make it easier to sustain a relationship, but many people from different backgrounds manage to make things work. If your parents ask about his family, just tell them what you just told us! That his family is good, that he is well-educated, and most importantly the strength of your love for each other. i am getting what are you coming at. I think family background, and other things should not matter in love. However, you need to keep into mind the aspirations of your family members also. try to talk to your parents and explain the situation to them.

NO,,not at all.I dnt think family background matters in love.U know what,u should try to convince your parents wid love about the rest qualities of that guy,n one imp. thing dnt take any decision wid heart only...See it thru the eyes of ur parents also,,n afterall what parents say,,thats all for our benefit. But u should try harder to get ur parents convinced n let them meet that guy,if his love is true,he would able to generate some soft feeling towards both of u,in their mind..
