Hey vik... India is already a part of 20-20 cricket internationally. All the test playing teams are a part of 20-20 cricket. They will all take part in the 20-20 world cup to be held in SA in september this year. About 20-20 in domestic cricket, I dont think that needs to be done this soon. Maybe 5 or 10 years later! Because frankly... India shouldnt care whether they do well in 20-20 or not. Their first priorities should be tests and ODIs.

Yeah i think 20-20 should be played in india as well. This enhances playing under pressure and will produce some good hitters.

i think 20-20 should be introduced for selecting players for playing on pitches which are totally flat and loaded completely in favour of the batsman. for other kinds of challenging pitches i think still the conventional way of playing holds good.

In my opinion India should not bother to start 20 20 matches in demestic circuit as the game there is pretty fast anyways. What should be done is to send suitable ranji players to play 20 20 international matches as this will give them international exposure (second rung team). This will help India in the long run

Of course... India has to... there is going to be an official ICC 20-20 World Cup in 2008. Plus 20-20 will sort of revive the dying Ranji and national level cricket in India... just like it did in England. It is very popular there.
