Is Bribe a Crime?

Bribe is found accepted in most of the society knowingly and unkowingly. The practice of bribe both ends receiving and paying ultimately promote bad governance. In most of the cases an addicted of bribing leades towards crime but withoun using materialistic weapos. So I think Bribe is also a Crime? what would you say?

Bribe is one of the biggest problems - mostly in third world countries but every so often you will find it in the modern world as well.
Yes I consider taking or paying a bribe a crime

Yes, bribe is one kind of great crime. It harras people and peoples right in the society. It push poor citizen towards more poor situation and break law and order situation, destroy morality in the society and country. Deprive good man from humanity. International organization and donors including human right organizations should take measures about bribe to bribe-prone country but they do not do it because I think they are taking bribe from Govt. of bribe-prone country.
