Do you feel that your parents tried to live their dreams thru you?

i think that every parent wants his kid not to make the same mistakes as he did. and that's why the parents try to involve so much in their kids life. but the parents don't realize that their children live different lifes under different circumstances. if one parent dremed of becoming a doctor but for different reasons failed on becoming one, most probably he'll try to make his kid a doctor. it happened almost the same thing with me. only until a certain point everything my familly wanted for me was the same thing i wanted for myself. so i didn't feel that much pressure. the day my wishes were different than theirs and i refused to do as they wanted me to, all their support was withdrawn.
