I'm not sure how it works myself. Does this mean that people who are not doing as Mylot says is getting a bad reputation? I'm not sure what mine means, and how to feel about it.

You are doing EXCELLENT ! 9 is almost at the top, so I would say congrats. I think that this is a good thing. It will give people more incentive to post more quality ratings.

I am glad I rate a 9 I'm not really sure how it works at this point tho. It said something about the computer will be the one determining who gets what rating. To my understanding you can loose rating for not participating also. I guess we will find out.

I think its a great way to monitor yourself. And it also helps people know what others think of your topics and discussions. Which in turn might generate more traffic to your discussions.

the rating is explained in your new alerts. if you look in your profile you should have a new alert. Basically your 9 is good. After I read what it meant I was quite offended as I only comment with things I have an option on rather than just trying to build my marks up and earn yet I only get a measly 4!!!!!!! They say it is based on quality yet some people who only have one or two word answers seem to get a high star marking?? Go figure!

Really I don't know how works this new algorithm of MyLot. I wrote my first post without watch my reputation star number and I was worried to see it. I know that it doesn't mean that you are good or bad but... well is the star about reputation or not? Is better have a big numeber in that or not?

I like it! I think it may help in creating more really good discussions now as well as replies. I at least hope so. Now we have a visual for rating posts. I always give my posters a plus for responding according to the discussion and for typing more than 3 words. Reckon those that did that, now see it paid off. Those that were posting "Yes" or "No" can see it didn't pay off. Good job Mylot!
